Hello! I'm David Rosen, Founder of Progress Rose, Beyond Boundaries Success Coaching. My Journey
With over 30 years of experience in healthcare and leadership roles spanning non-profit organizations, home health care, and substance abuse programs, my tenure as the co-owner with my wife Terri and CEO of four Griswold Home Care franchise offices stands as a significant milestone. To this day, all our offices continue to thrive under our excellent leadership team's guidance, delivering over 150,000 hours of care annually and enabling seniors to age in place with dignity and honor.
Rocky: A Philadelphia Legacy of Grit and Growth
Progress Rose isn't just a name; it's our family's testament to resilience, echoing Philadelphia's grit, much like Rocky's journey from underdog to champion. My great-grandfather, Frank Rosen, a new American immigrant fleeing persecution, found a path through great struggle and founded Victory Lighting in America, later evolving it into Progress Lighting. My grandfather Ruben Rosen and Uncle Maurice Rosen led Progress Lighting to become one of the world's largest lighting manufacturers, arising out of the City of Brotherly Love. I also honor my dad, Donald Rosen, a car industry trailblazer who paved the way for my journey. However, our story isn't just about business; it's about passion, resilience, and giving back. Our story ignites my entrepreneurial spark and fuels my coaching to help others exceed limits.
What Has Shaped My Heart
My heart has been profoundly shaped by years of engaging in heartfelt encounters and life-giving, meaningful connections with individuals from diverse cultures and indigenous communities across the globe. As a registered nurse, I have also been privileged to care for people from all walks of life, especially those in need. These experiences have instilled in me a deep sense of empathy and understanding, for which I am truly grateful. They've rooted me in principles of servant leadership and good stewardship, guiding my coaching style to prioritize empathy and teamwork, aiming to foster positive change in the world around me.
